Team SMG and Motivate.Trust Gaming qualify for the DPC: SEA Season 2
The qualifiers for the second season of DPC: SEA have ended. According to their results, Motivate.Trust Gaming and Team SMG will compete in the Lower Division.
In just 4 days, two open qualifiers were held, each gave a ticket to the Regional League. In the first, Motivate.Trust Gaming won a landslide victory, and in the second one, there was a scandal that influenced the determination of one more participant.
During the second qualification, Team SMG, which included MidOne, lost to Team D in the 1/8 finals. However, Valve disqualified the latter due to a violation: its member ??vtFaded played under a fake account, although he was a Team Mystery (ex-Zero Two) member, which already had a slot in the Regional League.
DPC: SEA Season 2 will start on April 13. In it, participants will compete for tickets to the June Major, a prize pool of $280,000 and 1,150 DPC points.
