Who to watch out for in the DPC Closed Qualifiers
The DPC Spring Lower Division Closed Qualifiers begin today, March 19. We highlighted a few teams worth watching during the qualifiers.
Old G
Western European Old G is one of the most interesting teams at these qualifiers. It contains the strongest players, who have previously won majors and The International. However, we don't expect that the roster set the goal to make it to the regional league at all costs. Most likely, the players just want to have fun.

After the previous DPC tour, some of PuckChamp's former players moved under the banner of Natus Vincere. The slot assigned to the tag also went to the new organization. This spring, along with the new players, PuckChamp will try to break into the lower division of Western Europe.

Piggy Killer
In the China Lower Division, after a series of bans, there are no competitors left. This has provided an opportunity for notable Chinese Esports players, who had previously gone inactive, to return and prove that they can fight at a high level. As a reminder, China has 6 invitations to the Lower Division at once, which means Piggy Killer has all chances to end up in the regional league.

The famous Southeast Asian organization Neon Esports will try to return to the regional league with a renewed roster in the spring. It signed Raging Potato right before the start and made a few changes over the winter when it failed to make it to the DPC: SEA Lower Division.
