The last group stage match of The International 10 has just finished. The complete list of the playoff participants and the starting pairs of teams were determined. First things first.
Group stage results
At the end of the group stage, the weakest teams in both groups were from South America — Thunder Predator and SG Esports. The first team finished with 0-16 stats, while the second team had 2-14. Both teams took 17th-18th place at The International 10. They each earned $100,000 for participating.
The intrigue for the remaining group positions lasted until the very last matches. However, there were no tie-breaks. The first 4 teams in each group qualified for the upper bracket, while the last 4 teams advanced to the lower bracket.
Tournament bracket
Immediately after the end of the group stage, a playoff draw was held. Thus, the top teams in the groups, PSG.LGD and Invictus Gaming, chose their opponent among the 3rd and 4th places. There was a similar distribution at the bottom, with the 5th place teams choosing their opponent among the 7th and 8th places.
Tomorrow all teams have a break. The tournament will continue on October 12. The final stage will no longer come online from the hotels but at the Arena Naţională in Bucharest. Look for the schedule of matches on the page — The International 10.
