Team Falcons Win Fissure Universe: Episode 3
The MENA squad has successfully added yet another trophy to their cabinet after taking down Team Spirit 3-0 in the Grand Final of FISSURE Universe: Episode 3.
Despite the score being a total blowout, the series was still very exciting. The first map featured a 71-minute game with three Divine Rapiers in play. Team Falcons had the lead throughout the entire game, but Team Spirit could make it very close. However, they could not pull off the comeback and allowed Team Falcons to run away with the game.
The second game was a total stomp. skiter displayed a masterclass performance on his Carry Nature’s Prophet, joining almost every engagement to convert a 24-minute win.
However, in the final map, Team Spirit looked like they had it in the bag with a 17,000 net worth lead. However, the Falcons pulled off a massive comeback after an incredible turnaround fight at the bottom area of the map.
With this victory, Team Falcons took home $70,000, while Team Spirit were rewarded with $35,000 for their efforts. We will not have a two-week intermission until The International 2024 starts, and Team Falcons look like they are in form.
