Sonneiko And ATF Had A "Physical Altercation" At PGL Wallachia Hotel
Tournament organizer PGL announced that AVULUS received a Level 3 draft penalty after an altercation between SoNNeikO and ATF happened at the Wallachia hotel.
PGL's official statement:
“AVULUS has been issued a Level 3 Penalty for the entire series against Falcons (-110 seconds bonus time on the Draft) following an altercation between SoNNeikO and ATF in the hotel lobby.
We condemn this type of behavior, as it goes against the values of sportsmanship and respect that we uphold in our tournaments.
The incident has been reviewed thoroughly, and appropriate action has been taken to ensure the integrity of the competition.
We expect all participants to maintain professionalism on and off the stage. “
This story goes back a few months, as SoNNeikO and ATF reportedly had beef with each other during a pub. The former threatened to teach the latter a lesson if both teams qualified for the same LAN event.
According to ATF, SoNNeikO threatened to puch him and "put him top the ground," but fortunately, no punches were thrown throughout the situation.
According to SoNNeikO, he just wanted to talk to ATF and educate him to become a better human being with respect.
As a result, AVULUS has received a deduction of 110 seconds during their bonus time. Currently, Team Falcons and AVULUS are going head-to-head in the 2-0 pool of PGL Wallachia Season 2.
