Ranking overview: Thunder Predator ranked 8th, while TNC Predator — 17th
A weekly ranking update of the world ranking of professional Dota 2 teams from our portal has been released. Despite the lull before the start of the second season of Regional Leagues, several changes have occurred.
Last week, there finished Asia Pacific Predator League 2021 with a total prize pool of $135,000 and Moon Studio Spring Trophy with $30,000 in the South Asian region. In addition to these tournaments, Dota 2 Champions League 2021 for teams from Europe and the CIS lasted all week. However, its final is scheduled for today, which means that most of the points will be awarded to the teams only next week to the ranking update.
Although Thunder Predator had a rest all week, due to a minor adjustment of points for past results, they could get ahead of Vikin.gg and climb to the 8th position in the world ranking.
TNC Predator, which became the champion of Asia Pacific Predator League 2021, showed a significant increase in points. The team overcame 7 positions at once and now ranked 17th.
Another South Asian team, Execration, climbed to 28th position by winning the local Moon Studio Spring Trophny.
The second season of the Regional Leagues starts this week, which means that, until its end, there will be significantly fewer changes in the ranking. All because of the small number of matches among the teams and the lull on the part of independent tournament organizers.
