Ranking of Dota 2 professional teams at the beginning of March

Yesterday, the weekly update of the Dota 2 professional teams ranking was released. And the day before, the first seasons of Regional Leagues ended in five regions. It has brought serious changes first time in 2021.

Secret and Virtus Pro occupy the leading positions, Natus Vincere climbed to third place

For more than six months, Team Secret has been at the top of our ranking, and the victory in the DPC: EU Upper Division has only strengthened its position. Next is Virtus Pro: the team climbed to second place back in January and is still holding it.

But there was a castling on the third position. The Natus Vincere team that took second place in the DPC: CIS displaced PSG.LGD, which had a two-week break to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Neon Esports and Quincy Crew improved their positions

The Philippine club Neon Esports has improved its position in the ranking for the second time in the last month. In early February, the team was on the 11th line, but two victories in local tournaments and second place in the DPC: SEA allowed it to enter the Top-5 strongest teams.

The North American club Quincy Crew hadn't won anything for a long time, so the points accumulated last year were gradually melting away. However, second place in the DPC: NA helped the team to move up to 6th place in the ranking.

Fnatic, beastcoast and Evil Geniuses earned a lot of points for victories in their regions

This year for Fnatic is radically different from the previous one. In 2020, the team regularly showed average results in local tournaments and was on the 20th-30th lines of our ranking. But in 2021, the team shows an excellent game, and the victory at the DPC: SEA is proof of that. That's why Fnatic could rise to the 9th line.

Beastcoast has a similar situation. Throughout the past year, the team has shown mediocre results in all tournaments. Probably, they lacked the motivation that the announcement of the Regional Leagues gave. The confident victory at the DPC: SA earned the beastcoast a lot of points. Now the team is on the 13th line.

Evil Geniuses missed some of the tournaments last year. After the Omega League, the team took a break before the start of the DPC season. Despite the long absence of tournament practice, the team achieved victory in the DPC: NA Upper Division. They received a lot of points and a considerable rise in positions in our ranking.
