Former Virtus.pro member ??Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko has joined Entity Gaming. He will take the place of the departed to Team Secret ??Remco "Crystallis" Arets. The information appeared on the club's social media.

Moskalenko was a member of Virtus.pro in the last DPC round, but the organization excluded him after the incident. In the DPC: Playoffs semifinals between Outsiders (Virtus.pro) and Mind Games ??Pure drew a "Z" sign on the minimap during the pause and then painted over it. After the incident, the BTS tournament organizer investigated and disqualified the team from the tournament.

Indian Esports organization Entity Gaming signed the player and highlighted his action:

We have closely followed the recent incident involving Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko. While playing with Virtus Pro in the EEU DPC Major qualifier, he drew a Z on the minimap while the game was paused. As a result Virtus Pro got disqualified. Fully aware of the PR nightmare that awaits us, we've made the decision to welcome Ivan to our lineup. After the departure of Remco "Crystallis" Arets, we had to find a worthy replacement.

Our top priority was to be able to compete at our best. To maintain and improve our current performance in the DPC. We contemplated several options, but ended up deciding that Ivan would be the best fit for us.

Our goal was to find someone who was not just skilled, but also compatible with our personalities. By talking with him about the incident, his personality and how he views Dota, we got to know Ivan. We understood that he meant no ill intentions towards anyone. We do not wish to speak for him; we hope to release a personal statement from him in the near future.

We believe that the mistake he made was not small, but we also believe that it was not big enough for him losing his potential dota 2 career as an 18 year old talent. The team and the players made the decision to support and compete alongside Ivan, we stand behind him and hope the community can understand.

In the DPC Summer Tour, Entity Gaming plays in the Upper Division of the European region. On the last tour, the team finished 6th in the Upper Division and retained the slot.
