NutZ announces retirement from the competitive Dota 2
Singaporean Dota 2 veteran ??Wong "NutZ" Jeng Yih has officially announced his retirement. The player has been playing professional Dota 2 for about 8 years.
??NutZ decided to retire after unsuccessfully trying to find a decent team and qualify for the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 for the last 7 months. Earlier this year, he formed a team called QueenSurf, including his several former teammates. Still, they dropped out of the initial stage of qualifiers in the South Asia region.
Wong began his career with the Singaporean Flash eSports team, which he joined in April 2013. He played for such teams as MVP HOT6ix, MVP Phoenix, Reality Rift, and others. The main achievement in his career was 7th place at The International 2015. For all the time, he earned more than $230,000 in prize money.
