New BOOM Esports Roster Fails Their Qualifier Run
The new iteration of BOOM Esports, featuring Pakazs, failed to get through the South American Closed Qualifier for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.
Since Beastcoast and Evil Geniuses no longer exist in the scene, people thought BOOM would quickly become the best South American team. However, the roster could not even make a deep run in the Qualifiers after losing to Keyd Stars in the second round of the Lower Bracket.
The manager of BOOM Esports tweeted a statement about their run at the Qualifier:
“"How can people say that we will disband the team after the first tournament, when even Erik Ten Hag is still the manager of Manchester United xD relax, it's too early."
