Most significant transfers before The International 10 Qualifiers

Twelve teams that received a direct invite to The International 10 have started the active stage of preparation for the tournament. But the rest have to play in qualifiers, so they have begun the period of roster changes.

Many teams, dissatisfied with their performance during the DPC seasons, decided to change their rosters before the start of qualifiers. It's hard to keep track of all of them, so we've compiled a list of the most significant confirmed transfers. It will be updated right up until the start of qualifiers. 

Europe

OG

Failure in the first and second seasons of the DPC forced the two-time champion of The International, OG, to change the roster at the very last moment. Coming in April, ??Anathan "ana" Pham hadn't met the expectations and announced the end of his career as a professional player. ??Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan replaced him.

Team Liquid

After failing at WePlay AniMajor, Team Liquid announced that ??Samuel "Boxi" Svahn is finally ready to return to the main roster. During his absence, ??Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan played for the team. Along with the return of ??Boxi, all players on the team returned to their former playing roles. 

Hellbear Smashers

A terrible second season of DPC: EU, where they couldn't win a single map and left the Upper Division, forced a roster change. For the upcoming qualifiers, ??Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau was replaced by ??Duško "BoraNija" Boranijaševic.

Chicken Fighters

Another team that lost a slot in the DPC: EU Upper Division, Chicken Fighters, also changed their roster. ??Ammar "ATF" Assaf was eliminated after 15 official matches played, and his place went to former OG.Seed player ??Petu "Peksu" Vaatainen.

Spider Pigzs

Unlike all the previous teams, the Spider Pigzs had a forced reshuffle. After the second DPC season, their sponsor, LVL UP, refused to continue the cooperation. As a result, Brazilian legionnaire ??Leonardo "RdO" Fernandes couldn't play with the team because of his high ping. ??Kamil "agressive child" Biktimirov joined the team instead.

Elephant

The Chinese super team didn't achieve any results during the DPC season, and agreed on a transfer of supports with Royal Never Give Up. ??Ru "RedPanda" Zhihao transferred from Elephant to Royal Never Give Up, with ??Xie "Super" Junhao joining the team instead.

The weakest team of the second season of DPC: China, which finished with a 0-7 statistic, made 2 substitutions at once. ??Hou "idc" Xiaomeng and ??Sun "Srf" Runfa left the main roster and were replaced by ??Xue "September" Zhichuan and ??Yang "Ms" Yongjie.

Southeast Asia

Fnatic 

Once the strongest team in Southeast Asia, Fnatic completely failed the DPC season. The team couldn't make it directly to The International 10, which led to the departure of ??Kam "Moon" Boon Seng, one of the oldest members of the Dota 2 roster. In his place, ??Yang "Deth" Wu Heng joined Fnatic. In addition to the roster changes, there were also position changes. For example, ??Ng "ChYuan" Kee Chyuan moved to midlane.

Team SMG

Team SMG's success in the second season of DPC: SEA Lower Division and reaching the Upper Division turned to despair. Team SMG could not resist the region's strongest teams at the ongoing BTS Pro Series Season 15. After that, they strengthened the team by signing ??Kam "Moon" Boon Seng, who replaced ??Muhammad Ammar "Neah666" Rasulli.

OB Esports x Neon

The incredible rise in the first DPC season and a resounding fall in the second one. They even had to play in a tie-break for elimination from the Upper Division of the second season. Because of that failure, there were changes to the roster.

AS Monaco Gambit

The most disappointing change occurred to AS Monaco Gambit. Right before the WePlay AniMajor, ??Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev and ??Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko left the team and joined Natus Vincere. The team had to look for replacements in a very short time, and they were ??Artem "Lorenof" Melnick and ??Albert "eine" Garaev.

North America

S A D B O Y S

One of North America's most notable mixes, S A D B O Y S, lost 2 players after the second DPC season: ??Clinton "Fear" Loomis moved to Thunder Predator as a coach, and ??Steven "Monster" Noel was eliminated from the roster. They were replaced by ??Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao and ??Danylo "Kingrd" Nascimento.
