G2.IG Bomb Out Of BetBoom DACHA Dubai 2024 Qualifiers
G2.IG will miss BetBoom DACHA Dubai 2024 after losing 0-2 to Blacklist International in the SEA/CN Closed Qualifiers. This loss in the Lower Bracket meant G2.IG had been eliminated from the Qualifier and tournament.
The Lower Bracket matchup between G2.IG and Blacklist International was already a surprise itself, as two of the most favored teams found themselves losing their Best of 1 series against IHC Esports and Talon Esports, respectively.
In the first map of this decisive series, the game was drawn out to 60 minutes, where the Filipino squad prevailed in the late game. The G2.IG squad had a rough start to the second game, where they lost their lanes and could not bounce back. Though it wasn’t too clean, Blacklist International still converted a 2-0 series against the Chinese superteam.
