FISSURE UNIVERSE: EPISODE 3 Tournament Overview
We’re experiencing a drought of top-tier tournaments during the intermission between The International 2024, and the tournament organizers at FISSURE are providing us with some good Dota 2 action throughout the week.
The FISSURE Universe: Episode 3 tournament features a prize pool of $135,000, and will feature eight teams in the main event. The main event will run from August 21 to 25, making it a short tournament.

The main event is supposed to feature eight teams, which is why the two missing slots will be obtained by the survivors of the FISSURE Universe: Episode 3 Play-in stage which is currently ongoing.

Once the final two teams from the Play-in stage have been decided, the main event will commence. Eight teams will be divided into two groups following a double-elimination format, and the remaining teams will advance to the Playoffs stage.
