Elephant, VG, Aster, and IG flew to Europe
Chinese clubs Elephant, Vici Gaming, Team Aster, and Invictus Gaming shared on Weibo that they finally flew out to Europe. They will soon arrive in Romania to prepare for The International 10.
According to the clubs' posts, only Elephant experienced difficulties with the departure. The team members left the country without any problems, but a few of the staff are still in China. The other clubs didn't report any problems.
PSG.LGD is the first team to arrive in Europe: they have been in Romania for about a month. They managed to play 2 tournaments during this time — ESL One Fall 2021 and OGA Dota Pit Invitational. At the first one, the team finished in second place and won the second one. All this time, their main midlaner, ??Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang, has been in Malaysia trying to get permission to leave, which he succeeded just yesterday.
Just 3 weeks are left until the start of The International 2021, which features 5 Chinese teams. The tournament will run from October 7 to 17 in Bucharest, Romania. The prize pool of the championship will be $40,018,195.
