Dota 2 Champions League Season 4: dates and participants
With the support of the Russian eSports Federation, tournament operator Epic Esports Events announced details about the Dota 2 Champions League Season 4. The tournament will start on September 18, and its prize pool is $50,000.
Participants
Compared with the previous season, the tournament has several changes in the list of participants. So, Team Unique, Team Empire, Spider Pigzs и HellRaisers won't take part in the new season. Brame, Khan, Creepwave and Winstrike Team will play instead.
Dates and format
According to the announcement, the tournament will run from September 18 to October 6 and include 2 stages: group and playoffs. There will be a Round Robin bracket in the group stage, and the playoffs have a Double Elimination bracket. At the time of publication of this article, it is unknown if we should expect additional participants for the playoffs. Also unknown are the details of teams making it out of the group stage.
